Physicians conducted a laser hair removal clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an Athos Nd:YAG laser, assessing the percentage of hair reduction at one month and at three months after a single laser treatment. Computerized hair counting on digital pictures allowed physicians to note the percentage change. Physicians noted the phototype, pain, side effects and patient's satisfaction for each of the seventeen female patients. The study indicated that the Athos Nd:YAH laser efficiently and safely removes pigmented hair.
