Physicians analyzed the clinical efficacy and histological features of a new laser, the MeDioStarâ diode laser, in the treatment of unwanted hair in twenty-four female subjects with Fitzpatrick skin types II-IV. Treatments occurred three times at monthly intervals. Physicians carried out hair counts using handheld magnifiers at baseline and at months 1, 2, 3 and 6. The study's results supported the clinical photoepilatory efficiency of the MeDioStarâ diode laser.
