Spider leg vein treatment with laser or intensed light therapy shows generally variable success rates and often adverse side effects. Physicians conducted a study to investigate whether pulsed diode laser treatment is an effective and safe spider leg vein treatment. The trial included thirty-five female patients with spider leg veins. They were treated twice with a pulsed diode laser on day 0 and day 14. Physicians concluded that pulsed diode laser therapy is a safe spider leg vein treatment option with immediately visible effects and without the adverse side effects of other therapies.
