Osyris Medical is a division of Osyris, a manufacturer of lasers for medical and industrial applications based in Lille, France.
Osyris, already well established in the European laser market, has taken a minority interest in privately-held MedSurge Advances in exchange for agreements to utilize MedSurge Advances’ sales and distribution capabilities to market Osyris products within the U.S.
The first product to be marketed in the U.S. will be the LipoFirm™ laser lipolysis device*.

The MSA/Osyris agreement will not impact MSA’s existing relationships with other manufacturers. Laser and aesthetic manufacturers such as Quantel Derma and Storz Medical will continue to market their products in the U.S exclusively through MedSurge Advances.
